The National Economic Council has rotated to audit the status of the proprietorship structure of the power Distribution Companies in the nation.
The choice was taken at Thursday's gathering of the committee, which was managed by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.
The survey will be finished by a specially appointed board of trustees led by the Governor of Kaduna State, Mr Nasir el-Rufai.
Governors speaking to the six geo-political zones on the Board of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company will serve on the survey advisory group.
The Governor of Imo State, Mr Eemeka Ihedioha, who talked on the goals of the NEC, included that the National Council Privatization and Bureau of Public Procurement would serve on the
board of trustees.
